The Service is an independent, unofficial web viewer created exclusively for informational and reading purposes, providing web access to publicly distributed content from the Threads network.
The Service adheres to the principle of data minimization:
- We do not require account registration, usernames, passwords, phone numbers, or email addresses.
- We do not collect, process, or store personally identifiable information (PII) such as full names, identity documents, or financial payment details.
- We do not operate user profile databases or link online actions to physical individuals.
To ensure infrastructure security, prevent automated spam attacks (DDoS), and optimize content delivery, our edge servers (Cloudflare) automatically record non-identifying technical request parameters:
- IP address of the incoming HTTP request (used solely for rate limiting and threat mitigation);
- User-Agent header, operating system type, and browser version;
- Requested URL path and timestamp of access.
Technical log entries are automatically purged on a scheduled rolling basis.
The Service uses strictly necessary technical cookies and client-side LocalStorage:
- Interface theme preference (light or dark mode, stored in LocalStorage);
- Language preference (ru or en, stored in LocalStorage and a technical cookie);

All profile metadata, text posts, media items, and comments displayed via the Service represent publicly accessible information shared openly by authors on the Threads platform. The Service does not bypass privacy walls, password-protected feeds, or private accounts.
All data transit between the user device and the Service is encrypted using modern TLS and HTTPS protocols. Edge caching nodes store publicly available responses temporarily to minimize upstream server load.
